Thank you for visiting our web site. We are a Bible-centred church who meet in Marske-by-the-Sea.
Our aims are to spread the good news of Jesus Christ through sound bible teaching and to meet the needs of the community.
At the heart of our church is a caring pastoral system. We welcome everyone and each one is valued and encouraged to use their gifts to grow in the love of Christ.

Regular Activities
Community
We love to get out and about in the community as individuals and as a church. We love to visit local Care Homes, schools and you might even find us out and about on Market Day. We want to be a blessing to the community and share the good news that Jesus saves.
Sunday Services
Our service on a Sunday is the main meeting where we gather together to worship, to read and learn from Scripture, to pray, and to encourage one another. The service lasts about an hour and we have a number of different preachers and service leaders. Almost everyone...
Prayer
We pray together as part of our services and Bible studies and have an active Prayer Chain. In addition to this we meet once a month to pray together as a church. We are confident that prayer changes things. We have seen answers to our prayers and we have heard God...
Care home services
Once a month on a Thursday afternoon we go into one of two local care homes (Roseberry Court and Silver Mews) and lead a short service. It includes plenty of singing plus a reading of Scripture and prayers. If you would like to join us then please do get in touch.
Churches Together
We love to join together with the other churches in Marske. We regularly join together for Power Praise with the Methodist Church, and support St. Marks as they work with the local schools. You may also see us all in the Square at Christmas and Easter.
Bible Study
We meet every Wednesday or Thursday at 7.00pm for prayer and bible study. We believe studying God’s word is a great way to learn about what He has to say to us today and how we can apply the bible teaching to our own lives. A warm welcome awaits anyone who wishes to...

I’m mum to three boys, and am blessed with 6 grandchildren. I’m married to Geoff and we live in Marske … I love Marske! I’m originally from Bootle in Liverpool – but please don’t hold that against me! I’ve lived here in the North East for over 30 years so definitely call this my home now.
I’m CEO and founder member of Footprints in the Community – a charity based in Redcar – who exist to help reduce poverty and isolation. We run a number of projects including Redcar Area Foodbank, Next Step Shops, The Shed …. to name but a few. I have a real heart for our community and believe God created me to love and support others. I'm honoured to have been named in the Kings Birthday Honours and be awarded an MBE.
Brian Settle
Hello! I have been married to Ann for nearly half of my life, I also became a follower of Jesus in that time. We retired to live in Marske in 2020 and have become part of this fellowship at Marske Community Church since then. I feel honoured to be chosen as a trustee and treasurer.
My life before retirement is like a game of two halves. In the first half and without God, I worked in garages, factories, a safari park and casinos at home and abroad. The second half since I met Jesus and Ann I have worked in care homes, child protection teams and then for 20 years as a foster carer with Cornerstone – a Christian fostering and adoption agency.
When I can, I play golf. Despite my love of numbers, I can best describe myself as a people person who loves to see anyone connect with God.
